Norman-Spencer Agency, Inc., announced today that it raised $102,000 for its new non-profit foundation, NS Cares. Through employee fundraising efforts, and the annual Golf Classic, 5K and dinner banquet that was held on September 21 in Dayton, Ohio, Norman-Spencer surpassed its original 2015 fundraising goal of $75,000.

More than 150 Norman-Spencer employees and carrier partners from across the U.S. raised money in the company’s third annual 5K walk/run and 32nd Annual Norman-Spencer Golf Classic at Yankee Trace Golf Club.

In late 2014, Norman-Spencer established NS Cares as a platform to help the various communities the agency serves, support national charities, and organize volunteer efforts. All employees are encouraged to participate in NS Cares because it encourages the development of solid teams, strengthens our communities, and attracts and retains great people.

“All of our employees have rallied around NS Cares,” said Brian Norman, president of Norman-Spencer Agency, Inc. “Our mission with NS Cares is to make a major difference in the communities where we live and work. A huge thanks to all the Norman-Spencer employees, our event partners and guests who helped make 2015 a success.”
